Dr. Martain Pierre Jean Loonen, M.D., Ph.D., FCC(Plast), is the chief of plastic surgery and leads a large team of surgeons to deliver plastic surgery education, training courses, and advisory services. The MEMP team has the knowledge and global contacts to arrange and deliver bespoke or pre-made solutions to the oncology training needs of health authorities, hospitals, and large clinics.

Dr. Martain Loonen is a highly accomplished Board-Certified Consultant Plastic Surgeon with over 14 years of experience in plastic, reconstructive, cosmetic, and hand surgery. He is also an expert in post-bariatric surgery, burn management, and medical management. His additional expertise in 3D surgical simulation and planning, as well as his involvement in developing new cartilage regenerative surgical treatments sets him apart from his peers. His research and articles have been published in prestigious international journals, such as Plastic and Reconstruction Surgery, and he is an invited peer reviewer for various international journals, including the American Journal of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, British Journal of Medicine and Medical Research, and the International Blood Research and Reviews. Dr. Martain has published a new breast reduction surgical technique, and his work has been cited over 400 times in the international scientific literature. He is an editorial board member for 16 international surgical and non-surgical journals, a testament to his expertise and knowledge in the field of plastic surgery.
