Consultant in Paediatric Endocrinology (Special interest: Pituitary and Neuroendocrinology) 10PAs
Applications are invited for a full time (10 PA) consultant post in Endocrinology at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). The Endocrinology Department provides a comprehensive, tertiary/quaternary paediatric endocrine service within the BRAIN Division at GOSH. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for Paediatric Endocrinology to join our successful team of Endocrinology consultants at GOSH. The new consultant will join an existing team of 7 Endocrinology consultants leading multi-disciplinary teams in different areas within the department.
The applicant should have experience in managing children with neuro-endocrine disorders with a particular emphasis on neuro-oncology, and the long-term consequences of brain tumours and their treatment. The appointee will spend approximately 50% of their time delivering, managing and developing this service, whilst the remaining part of their time will be spent within the General Endocrine service, developing a general endocrine portfolio. There is a 1 in 6 attending on–call commitment for this post, and the post-holder will be expected to cover a week at a time. There will be a commitment to develop and be active in research projects.

The basic salary range for this post is £79,860 to £107,668 per annum plus £2,162 per annum London Weighting.
