Applications are invited for Consultant Radiologists with a special interest in Interventional Radiology at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (CUH).

We are looking for two motivated and enthusiastic Consultant Interventional Radiologists to join our interventional Radiology team which currently has five substantive and three Locum Consultant Radiologists covering Vascular and non-vascular interventions including a formal on call rota.

The Interventional Radiology team forms part of the multidisciplinary teams with many specialties in particular with Vascular Surgery, Hepatobiliary, Hepatology, Urology, Transplant and Oncology.

The Directorate is well equipped with state of the art machines: three interventional suites with two of them dedicated to body interventional radiology, five Siemens CT scanners, one PET-CT scanner, six GE MRI scanners and an ultrasound suite with eight Toshiba US machines. There is also an eight bedded Radiology Day Unit.

The applicant must have demonstrable skills in listening, reading, writing and speaking in English that enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues, as set out in the GMC’s Good Medical Practice (2013).
